Coast Young Professionals makes donation to Hancock County Food Pantry

Mississippi Gulf Coast- Coast Young Professionals recently presented a check for $1,500 to the Hancock County Food Pantry.

Throughout the month of July, CYP held two fundraisers at their socials to benefit the Hancock County Food Pantry. The funds raised at the events were then matched by CYP, bringing the total to $1,500.

The money raised was above the initial goal of $1,000 and CYP hopes that their contribution will be of great help to the Pantry.

Bill Blaisdell, Executive Director of the Hancock County Food Pantry, was thrilled with CYP’s assistance. “We really appreciate all that CYP has done for us,” said Bill as he was handed the check, “This will definitely help us out.”
