Coast Young Professionals Presents SHINE ON!, a day of Professional Development 

MS Gulf Coast - Coast Young Professionals (CYP) celebrates the end of its first year by hosting a professional development series, SHINE ON!, which offers an array of topics for young professionals.

The seminar will take place at Premier Southern Events on June 12, 2008 at 8:00 a.m.  The day’s events will conclude at noon with a luncheon and an overview of the past year’s events.  The cost of this educational program is $35.00 for CYP members, and $45.00 for potential members.

The topics for the seminar range from learning how to sell yourself in the work industry, to becoming more educated on the diverse history of Mississippi.

In just the first year, CYP has over 450 members.  “CYP has accomplished so much and we hope the membership continues to rise in the second year,” said Cindy Duvall, CYP board member.  Cindy will also be one of the featured speakers at the seminar. 

The primary focus of this organization is to attract and retain young talent within the Gulf Coast business community by hosting monthly socials and offering different opportunities for members to become involved in the community.
