Black Tie & Blue Jeans is an unconventional awards program designed to honor 10 accomplished and influential leaders of the MS Gulf Coast with the "4 Ever Young" award. Honorees are those who are inspirational through innovative vision, relentless determination, and undaunting spirit. A CYP member is also recognized as the "CYP VIP" by showing exemplary leadership in the organization and also taking an active role in the community.

CYP and Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi team up to host the MS Gulf Coast's wiener dog races! Any and all small dogs are welcome to participate as long as they are dressed in costume and weigh 25 lbs or less. This is a family-friendly event that it is guaranteed to make you laugh!

The Bridge Walk & Canned Food Drive is held on or around the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina. CYP, the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation and The Sun Herald partner for this event to celebrate new beginnings on the MS Gulf Coast. Participants are encouraged to donate canned goods at either side of the Biloxi-Ocean Springs Bridge before walking across the beautiful structure that opened in April 2008, after the previous bridge was destroyed on August 29, 2005.

Educate & Engage is a half day seminar that focuses on issues that are affecting the MS Gulf Coast. CYP provides a forum for young professionals to learn more about these topics and also gives them a chance to share their ideas and concerns about the future of the region. The platform for this event changes each year to address hot topics and current events pertaining to the MS Gulf Coast.
Elderly Outreach Program
Every year before the holidays CYP raises money to purchase gift cards for the residents of a local nursing home. Many of the elderly do not have family and to brighten the holiday season CYP delivers the gift cards and hosts a small party for them. The IP Casino Resort Spa and the Gulf Coast Symphony partnered with CYP this year and provided a mini concert for the residents.
