Policy and Government Collaboration focuses on educating and engaging membership on a wide array of policy issues that affect the Mississippi Gulf Coast from an economic development and quality of life standpoint.  The group explores issues ranging from land use development to tourism to transportation and other infrastructure related topics.  The Policy & Government Collaboration keeps CYP members informed of pressing topics that have the potential to have a long lasting impact on the Coast.

Past Projects: 

• Held a political forum for state candidates to answer CYP questions at a political debate

• In 2009 the Policy & Government Collaboration held six political forums spanning from Bay St. Louis to Ocean Springs with combined attendance reaching over 2,000.  These forums were done with partnerships from The Sun Herald, Ocean Springs Record and The Sea Coast Echo.

• Annual Educate & Engage Seminar
